79,000km, Automatic

Refined heavy rustic

Angel Eyes are a stand out feature of this era of BMW

Changed classic/Reliving the 80's retro BMW 318

The 2008 320i has a feel which you could only find in a 1970s jag but lacks the sporting charm it once had

I drove a 1986 bmw 318 manual and it was different the car was for a different kind of person, it was sporty, it was fun, it was not refined though but it had a retro charm which is burned in my memory

And although I wouldn’t personally buy this car I can find a audience who would appreciate its sophistication

It has a rustic charm with the martial of the dash, the trim the smell, the instruments

It’s heavy to steer and it has a refinement which a person who likes the charm of a old European car which you thought was lost I believe elderly men would drive it and remember their youth

Now back to the review

The bmw 2litre does alright but it isn’t for the people seeking power, of you are aim for the 325i

It has parking sensors at rear

I like how if you just light touch the indicator it will signal for only 5 seconds allowing you to do a lane change with it automatically turning off

I thought the steering was too heavy and the car was too heavy and

the stereo and navigation system was hard to use and the knob was in a weird spot but that’s just modern euro cars as I experienced this when I drove the Audi A5

It felt complicated but then surprises you

I love how when you unlock the car in night lights appear under the door handles

The cruise control is very easy with a simple pull it’s on and set at the speed you are currently going but you have to push back to decrease speed and pull to increase which I found weird

The instrument telling you the average litres per hindred was out dated and changed depending on your acceleration which makes it impossible to know how many litres you do per 100km

It’s nice for sunny weekend drives

Perfect Ride to take out a pretty date

Very safe and has great features for the bachelor taking out his date for a fancy night as the car automatically locks once it starts driving so no intruder can try to mug you, when she uses the mirror a light will automatically appear and it is a classy ride which she will admire (even if it only borrowed for the date)

This luxury ride gets 3.5/5
